At Lavender Hill Villa, we strive to provide a smooth and comfortable booking experience for all our guests. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before confirming your reservation.

By making a booking with Lavender Hill Villa through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or any third-party platform, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

 

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking shall be considered confirmed only after:

  • Receipt of the required advance payment or full payment

  • Confirmation communication from Lavender Hill Villa via phone, WhatsApp, email, or booking platform

Lavender Hill Villa reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking in case of incomplete payment, incorrect information, or unavailability.

 

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Guest

  • Cancellation made 15 days or more before the check-in date:
    Eligible for a partial refund after deduction of applicable processing or transaction charges.

  • Cancellation made 7 to 14 days before check-in:
    50% of the booking amount may be refunded.

  • Cancellation made less than 7 days before check-in:
    No refund shall be provided.

  • No-shows or early departures:
    No refund shall be applicable.

Refund eligibility may vary during long weekends, festivals, public holidays, peak seasons, or special event dates.

 

3. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds shall be processed within approximately 7 to 14 working days through the original payment method, subject to banking and payment gateway timelines.

Lavender Hill Villa shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party platforms.

 

4. Third-Party Booking Platforms

If the reservation is made through third-party websites, travel portals, or online booking platforms, the cancellation and refund policy of the respective platform may also apply.

Lavender Hill Villa shall not be responsible for:

  • Refund delays caused by third-party platforms

  • Additional platform charges or deductions

  • Disputes related to third-party payment processing

  • Policies imposed by external booking websites

Guests are advised to carefully review the cancellation and refund terms of the respective platform before making a booking.

 

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall not be applicable in the following situations:

  • Violation of villa rules or property policies

  • Misconduct, illegal activities, or damage to property

  • Guest dissatisfaction due to weather conditions, traffic, power outages beyond reasonable control, or natural events

  • Failure to check in on the scheduled date

  • Reduction in stay duration after check-in

6. Property Cancellation Rights

Lavender Hill Villa reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to:

  • Natural disasters or unforeseen emergencies

  • Government restrictions or legal requirements

  • Technical issues or property maintenance concerns

  • Situations beyond reasonable operational control

In such cases, guests may be offered:

  • Alternative dates (subject to availability), or

  • A partial/full refund at management discretion

7. Security Deposit & Damages

Guests may be required to pay a refundable security deposit during check-in.

The security deposit may be partially or fully withheld in case of:

  • Damage to property or furniture

  • Missing items

  • Excessive cleaning requirements

  • Violation of villa rules

Additional charges may apply if damages exceed the security deposit amount.
